Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum), which is an amphibian, is endemic to North America and Mexico. It has a big head and small eyes, and is sedentary. They usually live in wet environment. They mainly eat arthropods, small fish and tadpoles. Their limbs and tails can regenerate after injury.
