The model blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus), with a body length of 33 meters, equivalent to the height of ten floors and weighing more than 200 tons, is the largest and heaviest mammal in the world. Blue whales are widely distributed, they can be found from the Arctic to the Antarctic oceans.
